PA WHEATFIELD — Wheatfield Board of Supervisors hired a new road crew member and approved donations. Jeremy Russell was unanimously hired at $23 per hour effective August 10, 2026, requiring a commercial driver's license within one year of his probationary period; CDL schooling costs will be split between township and employee. The Board approved $51,000 in donations to area fire and emergency services: $30,000 to Duncannon Fire, $9,000 to Duncannon EMS, $10,000 to New Bloomfield Fire, and $1,000 to New Bloomfield EMS, plus a $50,000 lien payment to Duncannon Fire.
The Board selected Alpha Space Control to paint 13.2 miles of roads for $6,969.60.
