PA WHEATFIELD — Wheatfield Board of Supervisors approves budget and hires new zoning officer. At their February 2 meeting, the board unanimously approved the 2026 township budget and hired Anthony Klase as Zoning Officer at $20 per hour following a selection process involving three applicants. The board also appointed Paul Finkenbinder as the township's representative to the Juniata Sewage Authority, approved conducting the township's annual audit in-house with Phil Vogel voting against the measure, and unanimously voted to advertise a proposed Solar Farm Ordinance with a public hearing scheduled for March 2, 2026 at 6:45 p.m.
