Wheatfield approves $155,730 in paving and seal coating contracts

PA WHEATFIELD — Board of Supervisors approves $155,730 in road resurfacing contracts. The supervisors unanimously selected Pennsy for a paving bid of $107,310 and Midland for seal coating at $48,420.34. In other business, supervisors unanimously approved a $9,000 first-quarter donation release to Duncannon EMS and authorized a letter to PennDOT requesting a safety study of the Paradise Road and Narrows Road intersection.
The board also scheduled a public hearing on a proposed solar ordinance for 6:45 p.m. on June 1, 2026, and directed Road Master Dexter Potter to initiate lock-rekeying for the township building.
