Board advances Data Center and Solar Farm ordinances

PA WHEATFIELD — Wheatfield Board of Supervisors advances Data Center and Solar Farm ordinances. The board unanimously approved amendments to the Data Center Ordinance addressing setbacks and buffering standards per existing zoning ordinance and SALDO references, with Supervisor Paul Finkenbinder requesting the revisions. The supervisors also unanimously voted to send the Solar Farm Ordinance to the county for submission and advertising.

Additional actions included unanimous approval of two development plans by Joe Burget, renewal of the salt contract for 200 tons, authorization for bid packages on paving and seal coat work on several township roads, and approval of a spring cleanup event for April 23 through 25.
